Located at 10550 Airline Highway in Baton Rouge, LA, the Louisiana Culinary Institute is a state-of-the-art, approximately 28,500 square foot facility, which consists of up-to-date classrooms, including three (3) demonstration labs, a full service restaurant kitchen, a project kitchen, a bakery demonstration lab, a restaurant dining room, an Amphitheater with a residential kitchen, and a media center.

The facility is an authentic environment for the education of culinary professionals. All of the equipment is well-maintained and kept in a sanitary and safe condition. The ratio of students to instructors is fifteen to one (15:1).

Mission Statement:  The Louisiana Culinary Institute's purpose is to educate its students to become highly trained professionals in food service operations.  Its intent is to provide its students with the appropriate knowledge and skills in professional cooking techniques, sanitation, nutrition and day-to-day business operations to successfully operate and manage a food service facility.  By doing so the Institute's goal is to fulfill the ever-growing need for culinary professionals in the food service industry.
